POSITION SUMMARY
The Product Coordinator (PC) plays several key roles, acting as the voice of the customer and advocating for the lifecycle of their products. In this role, you will use your deep expertise to help business owners realize the short and long-term vision and align technology with key business objectives. You will drive progress on key initiatives through the execution of product roadmap(s) and management of backlog(s), and act as the link between the Product Manager and technical development teams. A successful candidate in this role will demonstrate strong leadership, prioritization and communication skills to consistently deliver outstanding results on time and in line with the established budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Product Team: Participations

XF Partners: Finance, Operations, Accounting, Other IT Teams (will have to be able to work in lockstep with the Lending and Credit and Loan Servicing teams, especially)

Applications: NGS, internal participations application in development.

1. Manage the backlog of requests for new features, applying prioritization frameworks as necessary. 
2. Own sprint backlog and implementation of new product initiatives. Prioritizes product backlog working against established roadmap and coordinating dependencies with other Product Coordinators and Product Managers across AgVantis. Manages portfolio of IT initiatives to ensure proper prioritization and delivery of initiatives on time and on budget.
3. Responsible for development of lean business case and completing competitive analysis to inform short- and long-term product vision. Incorporates this knowledge when prioritizing features for releases. Makes tradeoff decisions between scope (value in expected ROI) and schedule (higher operating expense in longer release cycles) to reflect the best interests of business owners and end users.
4. As part of Quarterly Planning, decomposes feature(s) into user Stories and establishes Story acceptance criteria. Defines the definition of done.
5. Establish and facilitate relationships with Product Managers, Associations, and business leadership/ owners, bringing the voice and priorities of the customer to the forefront. Work cross-functionally to ensure business requirements and solution capabilities are effectively matched and implemented. Develops spirit of teamwork and collaboration with clear lines of accountability for key decisions
6. Apply depth of knowledge or experience to the configuration or delivery of product(s) to enable work processes.
7. Weekly tracking of incidents and service tasks to completion in partnership with service team. Shares regular feedback and follow up with business partners.
8. Responsible for product introduction & review with stakeholders. Documents Story acceptance criteria into Azure DevOps and approves/validates Stories.

9. Understands business strategy and clarifies customer objectives for scrum teams.

10. Delivery and release coordination, including training on new features. 
  
OTHER FUNCTIONS
1. Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education includes a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, business management, finance, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years' experience advising or acting as a leader in a product-led business technology organization.
- 2+ years’ experience as a product owner, product coordinator or related experience.
- Preferred experience with loan origination or loan accounting processes in the Farm Credit System or financial industry and developing and facilitating user-training. Experience with loan servicing logic in NGS is also a plus.  
- Experience in working on (or leading initiatives) including lending, servicing, and general accounting.
- Strong knowledge of finance market, regulatory environment, and regulatory compliance pertaining to Farm Credit Associations (FCAs) and banking.
- Experience and knowledge in Agile methodology.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Skill in gathering, compiling, organizing, and analyzing information.
- Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
- Strong oral and written communication skills across all levels of the organization (peers, management, C-Suite leadership, and customers).
- The ability to describe and demonstrate new and existing features to foster problem-solving and illustrate the value of the product.
- Knowledge of developing and facilitating user training and basic architecture of how digital applications are designed (UI vs back-end).
- Ability to communicate features to association leaders and employees and strong abilities to influence, keep team members engaged, and drive productive meetings.
- Familiar with lending and credit underwriting functions.
- Understands and creates product metrics, e.g., KPI’s and OKRs.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, self-reliance, and a willingness to “roll up one’s sleeves” to understand details.
- Curiosity and a growth mindset.
- Moderate travel with overnight stays as required.  The need for travel will depend upon initiatives.
- Regular attendance is required on this job, with the ability to work a full 8-hour day.  Overtime as required to meet deadlines.
